My Approach

It’s time to try something new

People often seek counselling services when they are facing problems or uncertainty. I believe that it doesn’t necessarily have to be the case. One can seek counselling services with an aim of  ‘self-awareness’ and when one is looking for a different perspective regarding their situation.

The Philosophical Midwifery Approach

This is what I preach and practice to help you grow in your life and give rise to your inner creativity. This method is formulated by Philosopher Dr Pierre Grimes and Dr Regina L Uliana. Based on the ancient Greek art of having a dialogue introduced by the first Philosopher ‘Socrates’, the approach helps one become ‘self-aware’ by removing unchecked ‘false beliefs’ and ‘assumptions’ one may have about themselves which hold them back in life.

Through our dialogue, I will help you how to think ‘effectively’ and ‘reasonably’ for yourself.

I specialize in helping people deal with anxiety springing because of problems in their relationships and workplace.

My specialization includes working with clients having a hard time achieving goals, who find themselves in a constant state of delaying things that are important for them. I am passionate about helping people gain clarity about these issues and finding the root cause behind these problems.

‘Studying Dreams for Personal Growth’ is another area in which I enjoy working. Dreams are a gateway into knowing ‘who we are as a person’. One can gain insight to understand themselves through my deep-rooted counselling program.

By replacing fear of the unknown with curiosity we open ourselves up to an infinite stream of possibility. We can let fear rule our lives or we can become childlike, with curiosity pushing our boundaries, leaping out of our comfort zones, and accepting what life puts before us. – Alan Watts
